With "Conference Of Trees" Hendrik Weber releases his sixth album as Pantha du Prince. After working for DIAL Records, he released his opus magnum "Black Noise" on the English rough trade label in 2010, for which he also received an echo. With "Conference of Trees" Pantha du Prince hits the nerve of the time. Musically and contentwise it offers a contribution, how a world of tomorrow can look like. A conference for today and tomorrow

Trees communicate with each other. A fact that was previously hardly considered possible has now been scientifically proven several times. In times of the current climate crisis, this may offer alternative ways to counteract the threat of disaster. To this end, it would make sense to enter into a dialogue with the trees. "Conference Of Trees" symbolizes this exchange by seeking a musical language for the communication of the trees. Pantha du Prince has now tried to translate this phenomenon musically with his work "Conference of Trees". Using a wide variety of instruments - from the classical cello, through a wealth of tonewoods and bells in different tunings, to homemade instruments and electronics - Weber and his four fellow musicians created a ten-part suite

Some of the recordings were made from live concerts and in the studio. His quartet consists of four top musicians with whom Pantha du Prince has been working together since "The Bell Laboratory".
