„Landing Place” opiera się na dialogu fortepianu i altówki, rozszerzonym przez syntezatory, sample, preparowanie instrumentów i rozwiązania elektroakustyczne. Muzyka łączy minimalizm, neoklasykę, ambient i ilustracyjne, filmowe brzmienie. Altówka pełni nie tylko funkcję melodyczną, lecz staje się także instrumentem rytmicznym i perkusyjnym dzięki wykorzystaniu takich technik jak tapping, scordatura i glissanda. W kompozycjach pojawiają się również elementy musique concrète: oddechy, szmery, zatrzymania i przypadkowe dźwięki otoczenia.
